About Us

We are a family that has been involved with our friends and relatives that have adopted for over ten years. Most of the kids have come from Russian orphanages, so we are very familiar with the results of trauma from not attaching and being institutionalized. We are getting ready to pick up the child we are adopting from Russia as well and are already experiencing first hand the frailty of an adopted child.

Having watched deep pain come to the surface in both in the parents and in the adopted children, we knew there had to be a better way to attach properly in adoption. During our adoption process, our friend who is a psychologist, introduced us to several books on adoption that addressed these very issues. This led to more research and more resources.

The physical act of adopting is grueling at best and we will share ideas that worked for us too. Enjoy and share your thoughts on what worked for you!
